IN-PERSON

In-Person Therapy: An Overview

In-Person therapy, also known as face-to-face therapy, refers to a traditional method of mental health

treatment where my clients meet directly with me in a physical setting, within my office in Ormond Beach.

This form of therapy is characterized by personal, direct interaction, where I will engage

in conversations aimed at addressing emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues.

The primary advantage of in-person therapy lies in the direct human connection.

The physical presence allows both my client and myself to observe non-verbal cues,

such as body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice, which can enhance the therapeutic process.

In-person therapy also fosters a sense of privacy and security, as clients may feel more comfortable

discussing sensitive issues in a confidential, dedicated space. I can offer real-time feedback, interventions,

and coping strategies that can be immediately applied to the client's situation.

Therapy sessions typically last between 45 and 60 minutes, and the frequency of visits

varies depending on the client’s needs.
